Xinyang Amsted Tonghe Wheels Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Tonghe”) is a Sino-US joint venture company that was founded in February, 2006. As approved by People’s Government of Henan Province, Tonghe is an industrial and trading company empowered to do import & export business, and it is mainly engaged in manufacturing & selling of cast steel wheels of railway wagons. With a total investment of 670 million RMB, a registered capital of 420 million RMB, Tonghe owns a floor space area of 336,996 m³，workshop building area of 72,000 m³, and more than 3,000 sets of equipment as well, meanwhile, its annual production capacity was designed as 250,000 pieces of cast steel wheels.
COMPANY STRENGTH
Being jointly invested by Zhejiang Zhenghe Holdings Co., Ltd, ABC Rail Product China Investment Corporation, Datong CRRC Amsted Castings Company Ltd., and CRRC, Tonghe is regarded as the first successful trial initiated by private enterprise, state-owned enterprise and foreign company, for manufacturing critical components of railway vehicles. By introducing the ABC casting process originated from the U.S., and the automatic full-line production facilities, along with continuous innovation and improvement, the production process employed by Tonghe is featured by mature technology, low energy consumption, stable quality, etc., and all the technologies and equipment in Tonghe are in the advanced position in the industry at home and abroad..
Since the operation of the company, Tonghe has been improving quality management system, environment system, safety control system etc. Over the years, it has been certified by many industry or international certification organizations, such as: CRCC railway product certification, AAR M-1003, AAR M-107/M-208, ISO 9001, China classification society certification, ISO 14001, OHSAS18001 and so on.

So far, Tonghe has manufactured more than 3 million cast steel wheels supplied to not only the domestic market, for example, China Railway and its subordinate railway groups, CRRC and its subordinate vehicle plants, but also the international market, such as the U.S., Brazil, Argentina, South Africa, Sierra Leone, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Croatia, Australia, India, Malaysia, Thailand and so on, and all the wheels have obtained consistent high praise from users.
Zhejiang Zhenghe Holdings Co., Ltd., whose business scope covers machinery manufacturing, communication equipment, hardware sales etc., accounting for 50% of the share.
Amsted Rail, a world leading enterprise in designing, manufacturing and selling of cast steel wheels and other railway products, accounting for 25% of the share.
Datong CRRC Amsted Casting Co., Ltd., is a Sino-US joint venture mainly engaged in manufacturing cast steel wheels, accounting for 15% of the share.
CRRC Capital Management Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CRRC, accounting for 10% of the share.
